Mrs. Virginia Miller Langham, 73, of the Appleton community, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005, in a local nursing facility after an extended illness. She was a native of Conecuh County and a long-time resident of Escambia County, Ala. She was a member of Old Town Baptist Church in Evergreen and a retired seamstress.
She is survived by three sons, Joseph Langham and Guy Burns Langham, both of Brewton, and Tyson Langham of Pensacola;
two daughters, Janet Hoomes of East Brewton and Linda Lail Morris of Evergreen; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 21, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Philip Danford officiating. Burial followed at Weaver Cemetery on Appleton Road with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
