Mrs. Mary Kate House Mason, 97, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005, at a Nevada hospital. She was a native of Uriah, a former resident of Huxford and a resident of Lovelock, Nev. for the past 12 years. She attended the Huxford Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Mason.
She is survived by three sons, Glenn A. (Barbara) Mason of Lake Placid, Fla., Jerry W. (Jean) Mason of Atmore, and Benny (Sandra) Mason of Huxford; her daughter, Mary Sue (Bill) Walker of Lovelock, Nev.; her brother, Gordon (Gladys) House of Molino, Fla.; six grandchildren, Debra Walker, John Walker, Terry Mason, Tim Mason, Josh Mason and Judd Mason, and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 25, at 10 a.m. at the Huxford Baptist Church with the Rev. Jesse Wood officiating. Burial followed at the Huxford Baptist Church with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Josh Mason, Judd Mason, Tim Mason, Don House, Joe Coker and Rodney Phillips.
