Mrs. Margarette Peebles Taylor, 77, died Monday, March 7, 2005, in an Alabaster nursing facility after an extended illness. She was a native and long-time resident of Escambia County, Ala. before moving to Alabaster, five years ago. She was a member of Brewton First Baptist Church and a retired admitting clerk for D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by a son, Bob (Becky) Taylor of Montgomery; two daughters, Vesta (Freddy) Ard of Alabaster and Robbie (Aaron) Smith of Mobile; one sister, Majorie Quimby of Montgomery and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 10, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Aaron Smith and Speaker Vesta Ard officiating. Burial followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
