The Standard has heard your opinions on whether smoking should be banned in public, now the Brewton City Council wants to hear what you think.
A public hearing will be held at 5 p.m. this Tuesday, March 15, in City Hall. Residents of Brewton are welcome to attend the public hearing to voice whether smoking should or should not be banned in public.
Council members are looking to adopt a Tobacco Free Ordinance for the city that would affect public working establishments including work sites, public facilities and restaurants.
