Mrs. Jessie Bea Barrow Byrd, 82, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at a local hospital. She was a native and lifetime resident of Flomaton and attended the Poplar Dell Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Byrd of Flomaton; her son, Leon Johnson of Flomaton; a sister, Willine Barrow Brock of Arlington, Texas; two grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 19, at 10 a.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Brown officiating. Burial followed at Flomaton Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
