Tom Cofield

Mr. Tom Cofield, 92, died Monday, March 14, 2005, at a Jay hospital. He was a native of McDavid, Fla., and a resident of Century for most of his lifetime. During his working years, he was self employed as a painter and carpenter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mable Bell Cofield and a son, Clarence Cofield.
He is survived by his sons, Bruce (Colene) Cofield of McDavid, Harry (Betty) Cofield of Jay, Fla., Billy (Diane) Cofield of Molino, Fla., and Richard Cofield of Century, Fla.; a step-son, Frankie Bell of Flomaton; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 17, at 10 a.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Gene Stokes officiating. Burial followed at Flomaton Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Tony Cofield, Daria Cofield, Benny Cofield, Johnathan Cofield, Ricky Cofield and Thomas Cofield.
