There are Escambia County Tournaments for baseball, girls basketball and boys basketball. Next school year there will also be an Escambia County Tournament in volleyball.
T.R. Miller will be the host of the inaugural event, which is slated for October 15. Escambia County, Flomaton and W.S. Neal will compete in the tournament along with the host Lady Tigers.
Next year's tournament will be held two days before Area Tournament competition will begin.
Like county tournaments in other sports, the volleyball version will also be a round robin event.

The W.S. Neal Blue Eagles basketball team has pulled out of the T.R. Miller Holiday Tournament.
Next season the Blue Eagles will participate in the Florala Tournament, which will be held December 19-22.
W.S. Neal had participated in the T.R. Miller Tournament during the first three years of its existence. The Blue Eagles lost their last eight games at the TRM Tournament after a first-round win in the inaugural event back in the 2002-03 season.
All three opponents W.S. Neal played at this past season's T.R. Miller Tournament were teams the Blue Eagles played during the regular season. W.S. Neal played T.R. Miller, a team it played three other times during the season, in the opening round. The Blue Eagles met Flomaton in the consolation semifinals. Those teams hooked up at the Escambia County Tournament. The Blue Eagles then faced Andalusia in the seventh place game. W.S. Neal and Andalusia had two other regular season meetings.
While still incomplete, next season's W.S. Neal schedule is taking shape.
The Blue Eagles are currently slated to open next season November 22 at home

against McKenzie.
McKenzie, which W.S. Neal will have a home and away series, is currently the only new opponent on next season's schedule although those schools played a home and away series in the 2003-04 season.
The Blue Eagles also have home and away games against Pleasant Home, UMS-Wright, Georgiana and J.U. Blacksher along with Class 3A Area 1 foes T.R. Miller, Straughn and Clarke County.
In addition to the Florala Tournament, the Blue Eagles will also be in the Escambia County Tournament, which will be held December 8-10 at Flomaton.
The T.R. Miller Tigers basketball team has added a third tournament to its schedule for next season.
T.R. Miller has joined the field at Oxford. That event will be held December 22-23.
Not only will the Oxford event give T.R. Miller three tournaments on its schedule for next year, but all three tournaments are in December.
The Tigers will also be in the Escambia County Tournament December 8-10 at Flomaton and they will host their own T.R. Miller Holiday Tournament December 27-29.
