Mrs. Alice Faye Morris Pitts, 68, died Thursday, March 31, 2005, at her residence after an extended illness. She was a native and life long resident of Brewton, of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Eddie Pitts, Steve Pitts and Frank Pitts, all of Florida; two daughters, Sandra Pitts Jett and Shelia Pitts Henry, both of Brewton; two brothers, Buddy Morris of Milton, Fla. and Wayne Morris of Brewton; four sisters, Marie Waters and Barbara Pugh, both of Brewton, Iva Lee Harrison of Pensacola, Fla. and Betty Sue Griffin of Georgia; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today, April 3, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 4, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Byrnes Pitts officiating. Burial will follow at Weaver Cemetery on Appleton Road with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
