W.S. Neal catcher Justin Smith had the ball waiting for Clarke County's Jared Gates, as he approached home plate in the second inning of Tuesday's game. Smith's tag preserved a 1-1 tie at the time and the Blue Eagles went on to a 5-4 victory.
