Mrs. Ouida Jones Taylor, 94, died Thursday, April 14, 2005, in an Andalusia hospital. She was a native of Pike County and a resident of Evergreen. She had worked as a licensed practical nurse.
She is survived by her sons, Billy Jones (Pat) Taylor of East Brewton and Julius Michael (Doris) Taylor of San Angelo, Texas; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, Sunday, April 17, at 2 p.m. at New Providence Baptist Church in Paul, Ala., with pastor Fred Kelley officiating. Burial will follow at Sepulga Baptist Cemetery in Evergreen with Cope Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sepulga Cemetery or New Providence Baptist Church.
