It is a good thing there were three matches scheduled between the T.R. Miller and W.S. Neal tennis programs for this spring.
That third match, which is slated for Thursday in Brewton, will serve as the rubber match after the two schools divided the first two rounds in both sexes.
W.S. Neal's girls claimed round one 5-4 Tuesday, but T.R. Miller bounced back for a 6-3 triumph in Thursday's rematch.
In boys competition, T.R. Miller delivered the first blow with a 5-4 win Tuesday, but W.S. Neal came back for a 5-4 win in the second meeting.
Both teams have some work before the Thursday's rubber match. W.S. Neal hosts Opp Monday, while T.R. Miller visits Andalusia Tuesday.
