The hits just keep coming. So do the runs and so do the wins.
Sixteen T.R. Miller runs on 16 hits added up to the Tigers' 13th straight victory Monday, as they ambushed the visiting Monroe County Tigers 16-6 in five innings.
Despite the lopsided final margin, T.R. Miller (18-4) got off to a bit of a slow start when Monroe County plated

a pair of runs against Tigers starting hurler Becker Denton in the top of the first inning.
T.R. Miller quickly took control once it got to the plate, as it batted around in each of the first two innings. In fact, 14 Tigers went to the plate in the second inning.
A four-run rally in the bottom of the first inning put T.R. Miller ahead for good. Jacob Salter started the trouble with a single. He then stole second and third before a double by Baxley Raines drove him home. Raines scored the tying run when Jordan Ball's RBI single was misplayed into an error. A pair of wild pitches allowed Ball to score the go-ahead run and an RBI single by Mackie Jackson plated Tyler Shehan, who had earlier walked, to make it 4-2.
The Tigers erupted for a 10-run second frame. Jordan Cauley had two doubles and four RBIs in the inning. Jacob Salter and Raines also had two hits in the inning. Salter had a single and a double, while Raines had two RBI singles. Jackson contributed a two-run single and Tyler Chapman had an RBI double.
The 14-2 lead increased by a couple more runs in the fourth inning. Salter posted his fourth hit of the game, a double. That was followed by an error on a ball hit by Cauley, a single by Ball and another error on a ball hit by Denton.
After the slow start, Denton settled down and did not allow another run until the fifth inning when Monroe County scored four final runs. Jackson actually got the final three outs and preserved the early exit on the 10-run rule.
The Tigers enter play at the Escambia County Tournament Thursday at Flomaton where they will play W.S. Neal at 7 p.m. T.R. Miller plays Escambia County Friday at 4:30 p.m. and Flomaton Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
