Flomaton
Mrs. Nell Bonds, 79, died Thursday, April 21, 2005 in Flomaton. She was a native of Winfield, Ala., and a resident of Flomaton since 1954. She was chairman of the Bereavement Committee attended the Flomaton First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Hoyt Bonds of Flomaton; two daughters, Judy Bonds Kearley of Brewton and Susan (Roger) Adkinson of Flomaton; a brother, Tommy Dykes of Grenada, Miss.; two sisters, Ruth Hales Ayers of Suwanee, Ga., and Louise McGaskill of Indianola, Miss.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, April 24, at 2 p.m. at the Flomaton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Keese and the Rev. Tim McKnight officiating. Burial followed at Flomaton Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
