Mr. Wilbert Timothy Johnson Sr., 73, died Saturday, April 16, 2005. He was a U.S. Army veteran and employed at Brookley Field in Mobile and the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Fla. He was later employed with the Conecuh County Board of Education.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Johnson; two sons, Wilbert (Melanie) Timothy Johnson Jr. and Raymond (Betty) Stallworth; one daughter, Carmen (James) Brooks of Mobile; one sister, Mary Louise Tucker of Monroeville; a brother, James (Ida Pearl) Royster of Pensacola, Fla.; two step-children, Robin Hunter and Renarda Bradley, both of Brewton; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 21, at 2 p.m. at Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church in the Nichburg community with the Rev. Danny Benjamin officiating. Burial followed at Belleville Baptist Church Cemetery in Belleville, Ala. with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
