Mr. Von Lawrence Moody, 45, of Tullahoma, Tenn., formerly of Cartersville, Ga., died April 23, 2005, as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was a native of Richmond, Va., and a former resident of Brewton. He was of the Catholic faith and was a chemical engineer. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Von Moody.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Moody Morris of Tullahoma; a son, Melvin Von Moody of Rydal, a daughter, Christian Hope Moody of Alabama; a step-son, Dewayne Brooks of Atlanta, Ga., his mother, Theresa Moody of Brewton; a sister, Kathy Stanley of San Leandro, Calif.; three brothers, Ron Moody of Martinez, Ga., Don Moody of Lake Worth, Fla., and John Moody of Houston, Texas.
