Mr. Michael Therrell Phillips, 31, died Monday, May 2, 2005, in Monroeville. He was a native of Huxford and a resident of Perdido for the past eight years. He attended the Baptist church.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Phillips of Perdido; his father, Lynn Phillips of Flomaton; his mother and step-father, Earline and Gilbert Walls of Booneville; a daughter, Makayla Phillips of Perdido; three step-daughters, Courtney Brown, Hali Brown and Katelyn Brown, all of Perdido; his grandparents, Luverne and Billy Joe Hadley of Perdido and Alvin Conway and Nevell Conway of Louisiana; a brother, Ron (Karen) Phillips of Atmore; five step-sisters Angela Presley of Perdido, Becky Walls and Wendy Lynn Walls, both of Atmore, Patsy McGhee of Poarch, and Connie Rolin of Brewton; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 6, at 2 p.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Blackmon and the Rev. Richard Daniels officiating. Burial followed at Miller Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
