Mrs. Myrtle Dyess Crutchfield, 86, died Sunday, May 8, 2005, in a local hospital. She was a native of Conecuh County and a lifetime resident of the Brewton area. She was a homemaker and member of Macedonia Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. E.M. Crutchfield; a brother, Carl Dyess and a sister, Edna Hammonds.
She is survived by a brother, Frank Dyess of Lenox; a sister, Willie Stanford of Lenox; special friends, Lamar and Linda Butts and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, May 11, at 3 p.m. at Macedonia Holiness Church with the Rev. Wilbur Graves and the Rev. Lamar Butts officiating. Burial will follow at Weaver Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
