Mrs. Dixie Nell King Meads, 90, died Saturday, May 14, 2005, at a local nursing home after an extended illness. She was a native and long time resident of Falkville, Ala., before moving to East Brewton. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church of Birmingham.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol Ruth (Charles) Fountain of East Brewton and Paula Sue Henderson of Birmingham; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services were held Sunday, May 15, at 3 p.m. at Falkville Cemetery in Falkville with the Rev. Don Henderson officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
