Mr. James "Buddy" Hardy, 62, died Sunday, May 22, 2005 at a Pensacola hospital. He was a native of Bratt, Fla., and a resident of Flomaton for the past 15 years. He attended the Baptist church and was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Vera Hardy and a grandson, James Hardy.
He is survived by a son, Shane Hardy of Polk City, Fla.; a stepson, Tony Datuin of Rogersville, Ala.; a daughter, Lisa Hardy Martin of Flomaton; two stepdaughters, Lita Tamondong of Lakeland, Fla. and Lori McDonald of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Ann Hardy Shaw of Century, Fla., and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 24, at 10 a.m. at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Gene Stokes officiating. Burial followed at Godwin Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
