Mrs. Margaret Vea Adams Boutwell, 80, died Saturday, May 21, 2005, at a Montgomery nursing facility. She was a native of Wicksburg and had been a resident of Flomaton for the past 22 years, coming from Montgomery. She worked as a legal secretary for a number of law firms and judges. She was a member of the Montgomery Area Legal Secretaries Association and of the Little Escambia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Finnis B. Boutwell.
She is survived by two daughters, Dawn B. (Rick) Wilson of Montgomery and Skye B. (Drew) Thompson of Shorter; three sisters, Edna Meadows of Opelika, Lillian Bynum of Jacksonville and Hilda Nichols of Panama City, Fla.; five grandchildren, Brook Ingram, Kathryn Thompson, Margaret Thompson, Erica Thompson and Noelle Gomis; six great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
