The canning, freezing and drying season is here. If you have questions please call the Extension Office.
If you will be using a pressure canner this summer you need to bring the lid into our office to have the gauge tested. Please call (251) 867-7760 to be sure I am in to check the gauge.
We also have the Food Preservation in Alabama Cookbook for sale. It's a great bargain at $7. It can be purchased at our office in Brewton on Ag Science Drive (Behind Southern Pine Electric Cooperative on Hwy. 31 South) or at Central Farm Supply on Trammel Street in Atmore.
