Mr. Glenn Ocie Hudson, 77, died Tuesday, June 7, 2005, in a Montgomery hospital. He was a native of Coffee County and a resident of Evergreen. He had been a truck driver for Conecuh County and was preceded in death by two children, Danny and Brenda Hudson.
He is survived by his wife, Ocie Mae Hudson of Evergreen; three sons, Edward Hudson of Evergreen, Arlton Hudson of Florala and Steve Hudson of Biloxi, Miss.; a daughter, Judy Forehand of Millbrook, Ala.; a brother, James Hudson of Bay Minette; five sisters, Corale Haddox of Spartanburg, S.C., Mamie Edge of Montgomery, Nell Dempsey of Bay Minette, Christine Gibbs of Mobile and Lurleen Sumpter of Orlando, Fla.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 10, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Cope Funeral Home with pastors Peter Cooper and Tim Gafford officiating. Burial followed at New Home Cemetery with Cope Funeral Home directing.
