Mr. Ronald Alexander "Ronnie" Clayton, 62, died Wednesday, June 8, 2005, at a local nursing facility after an extended illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Brewton and was a retired heavy equipment operator with Escambia County, Ala.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Newby Clayton of Brewton; two daughters, Kimberly Clayton Wilson and Brandy Alexandra Clayton Thoroman, both of Brewton; one sister, Catherine Smith McCurdy of East Brewton and two granddaughters, Ashley Alexander Thoroman and Angela Lynn Wilson.
Memorial services were held Saturday, June 11, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. John Wilson officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
