They did not answer every question coach Ron Jackson had about his team, but the T.R. Miller Lady Tigers basketball team was able to answer some of them during the weekend T.R. Miller Summer Basketball Tournament.
The Lady Tigers capped off play Sunday with a 10-1 record. During the three days of competition T.R. Miller posted two wins over Greenville, Northview (Fla.) and W.S. Neal along with one victory each against Andalusia, Clarke County and Escambia County. The lone loss came at the hands of Clarke County.
One of the biggest questions the Lady Tigers had coming into the tournament was their perimeter game after the graduation of their top three-point shooter from a year ago, Keonshaye Lane.
Bench contribution has been an Achilles heel for the Lady Tigers the last couple of seasons. Jackson saw some things during the tournament that may indicate that area will be better during the upcoming season.
Jackson has moved senior Jasmine Sanford to the point guard role to take over for Lane. Jackson would prefer that switch be a temporary one, but may not have much choice but to leave Sanford in that role.

We'll just have to wait and see what happens in that role," Jackson said.
Jackson said both Sanford and senior Joy McCorvey are having to step into the leadership role, an area that fell on Lane's shoulder's last season.
Jackson said he hopes to advantage of the new Alabama High School Athletic Association rule that now allows seven team competition days during the summer.
