Mrs. Rea Weaver died Saturday, June 18, 2005. She was a native of Andalusia and a resident of Birmingham. She attended Ridge Crest Baptist Church in Dothan and was a member of the Forsythia Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyman Weaver.
She is survived by a son, Charles Weaver of South Weber, Utah; two daughters, Lynda Walp of Pearl River, La., and Lynita Motes of Birmingham; one brother, Roy Everage of Brantley; three sisters, Dorothy Gillis of Columbus, Miss., Ermajean Self, of Callahan, Fla., and Patsy Hargrove of Lakeland, Fla.; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many other relatives.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 20, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Burial followed at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home directing.
