Mrs. Mary Cooper Warren, 89, died Saturday, June 25, 2005, in Pensacola, Fla. She was a lifelong resident of Escambia County, Fla. and was a member of Century Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her six brothers, twin sister and a grandson, Craig Locklin.
She is survived by her daughters, Eloise (Doug) Simmons of Jay, Fla., Janice Locklin of Milton, Fla., Maxine (Mike) Pace of Brewton, and Kemp (David) Soule of Pensacola; her sons, Frank Warren of Sneads, Fla. and Jerry (Pam) Warren of Conway, S.C.; nine grandchildren, Debbie, Helen, James, Merry Ellen, John Wayne, Butch, Lisa and Lynn and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 27, at 2 p.m. at Jay Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Keese officiating. Burial followed at Byrneville United Methodist Church Cemetery with Jay Funeral Home directing. Active pallbearers were Charles Smith, James Smith, Anthony Hardy, Cecil Simmons, Tony Simmons and Jimmy Adkins.
