Mrs. Edna Fleming Reeves, 75, died Friday, July 8, 2005, at her residence in Castleberry after an extended illness. She was a native of Coffee County and a resident of Castleberry for the past 57 years. She was a retired seamstress with Judy Bond Fashions and a member of the London Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Reeves.
She is survived by her four sons, Ronald (Linda) Reeves of Brewton, Jimmy (Beverly) Reeves of Monroeville, Terry (Carolyn) Reeves of Cantonment, Fla., and Ricky (Susan) Reeves of Castleberry; one brother, Dean Fleming of Polk City, Fla.; two sisters, Jo Ann Tucker and Janice Rowe, both of Polk City; seven grandchildren, Jeff Reeves, Josh Reeves, Heather Carlton, Aja Tilley, Susanne Coleman, Jeremy Reeves and Chase Reeves; two great-grandchildren and a dear friend, Evelyn Lanier of Castleberry.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 12, at 2 p.m. at London Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy White and the Rev. Shannon Arnold officiating. Burial followed at Baggett's Chapel Cemetery in the Belleville community with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were the grandchildren.
