East Brewton native and W.S. Neal distance standout Ray Dunn posted an eighth place finish at the Capt'n Fun Bushwacker 5K race held in Pensacola.
Dunn posted a time of 18:22. Samson Kipchirchir of Mobile won the race with a time of 16:03, which was more than a minute better than the time posted by runner-up Bret Borne of Covington (La.), who crossed the finish line in 17:04.
Dunn is coming off a spring track season at W.S. Neal where he posted a second place finish in the 1600 meters and fifth in the 3200 meters at the Class 3A state meet.
