The T.R. Miller football program will be conducting its second annual Football for Mothers Night August 30 at 6:30 p.m. at the Brewton First Methodist Church.
Riggs said last year's inaugural event drew about 30 mothers of T.R. Miller players.
Riggs said one of the biggest goals of the program is to open up communication between the mothers and the T.R. Miller football program.
Another main purpose is to inform mothers what football has to offer to their sons.
The program is expected to provide some guest speakers.
probably have some of our current players talk to the mothers as well. Last year my wife, Becky, talked to the audience. I'll try to sweet talk her into doing it again. Last year she talked about all the hours football involves and offered some insight on what that is like," Riggs said.

The T.R. Miller Quarterback Club will hold its next meeting Monday at 6 p.m. at the field house.
