Eighteen-year-old April Brown of Brewton recently claimed the state 4-H title in photography.
She took this honor on Aug. 13 at the 2005 4-H State Congress held at Auburn University.
The talented 4-H participant earned her way to the state competition by representing Escambia County and winning the Regional Congress at Springhill College in Mobile earlier this summer.
Brown will be a freshman at Auburn University this fall. She is the daughter of Steve and Terri Brown.
