Mourners gathered Tuesday morning for the funeral of 19-year-old Daniel Leigh McGougin.
Funeral services for McGougin were held at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home, where Rev. Richard A. Dinkins and Rev. Reo Pugh officiated. Interment followed at Weaver Cemetery.
McGougin died Friday afternoon in a wreck approximately 12 miles north of Flomaton on County Road 27.
He was a passenger in a 1992 Chebrolet S-10 pickup driven by William Andrew Russell Jr., 25, of Brewton.
McGougin had worked as a carpenter for J &L Construction. He is survived by his parents, Daniel and Belinda McGougin, three brothers, one sister and his maternal grandparents.
