Due to a shortage of blood in Panama City in July, the Red Cross blood drive had to be rescheduled.
On Aug. 25, the American Red Cross will be conducting a new blood drive at Wal-Mart between 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
It is reported that summer months are typically low months for blood donations. Giving blood saves lives and typically, those who donate blood feel good because they did such a great thing. By giving blood, it often triggers new, healthy blood cell production.
Not only do you feel great about giving blood and develop healthy cell production, you can also win a weeklong stay at a condominium.
In an effort to encourage more blood donors, Midnight Properties has donated a weeklong stay at the Verandas Condominium at Pensacola Beach.
So go out there, support the community and give some blood.
