Mr. Thomas Jeffery Grantham, 52, died suddenly Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005. He was a native and life long resident of Escambia County and was employed with the city of East Brewton Water Department. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Emma Holmes Granthan; his step-mother, Janet Billy Grantham and brother, Mark Edward Grantham.
He is survived by his father, T.J. Grantham of East Brewton; a daughter, Patti Qualls of East Brewton; five sons, Thomas J. Grantham Jr. of Allentown, Fla., Tommy Grantham of Florida, and Chris Lee Grantham, Eddie Wayne Grantham and Bobby J. Grantham, all of East Brewton; a brother, Carlos Richard Grantham of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Grantham and Diane Grantham Brissette, both of East Brewton; two grandchildren, Brandon William Qualls and Kristy Nicole Qualls, both of East Brewton, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 20, at 10 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Watson officiating. Burial followed at Fort Crawford Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
