Fourth quarter TD lifts TRM "B" past WSN

After it had lost two games to cancellations to start the season, the T.R. Miller "B" football team finally opened its season on the field with an 8-6 win over W.S. Neal in East Brewton Monday.
W.S. Neal, which also made its season debut, got a 35-yard touchdown run from Nate Sheffield with five minutes left in the first half for its only score of the game.
The Blue Eagles were able to make that 6-0 edge hold up until the fourth quarter when T.R. Miller pulled even on a two-yard touchdown run by Seth Holland with six minutes left. Holland was able to add the two-point conversion on a run that provided the go-ahead and eventual winning margin.
T.R. Miller's next "B" game is Monday at Andalusia. W.S. Neal's next 'B" game is also Monday at Northview (Fla.).
