Mrs. Mary McLane Parnell of Pineview Street, Brewton, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005 in a local nursing facility after an extended illness. She was a native and long time resident of Florida before moving to Brewton 10 years ago. She was a member of First United Church of Brewton, the Eastern Star and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Parnell; two daughters, Susan Anne Parnell and Marilyn June Parnell and a sister, Charlene Berry.
She is survived by a daughter, Beverly (Jim) Stark of Brewton; two grandchildren, James Brian Stark and Cheryl Anne Lambert.
Graveside services will be held today, Wednesday, Sept. 14, at 11 a.m. at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Jacksonville, Fla. with the Rev. Skip Pardin officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
