Mrs. Caroline Ruth Hartman Osban, 87, died Sept. 10, 2005, in a hospice center in Auburndale, Fla. due to pancreatic cancer. She was a native of Youngstown, Ohio and a resident of Auburndale for 60 years. She had served in the 104th Women's Army Corp Hospital Company during World War II. She was formerly co-owner of Osban's Dairy and owner of The Butter Churn Antiques.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Harold L. Osban Sr.; rwo sons, Harold L. (Patricia) Osban Jr. of Bradenton, Fla., and Alan K. (Denise) Osban of Auburndale; a daughter, Linda Osban (Jerry) Tyler of Brewton; two brothers, Wallace Hartman of Columbus, Ohio, and Kenneth Hartman of Stuart, Fla.; one sister, Margaret Brecht of Eighty-four, Penn.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
