Mr. Lawrence Smith Jr., 31, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005, at his home in Indianapolis. He was a native of Brewton. He was a 1993 graduate of T. R. Miller High School and a member of Tabernacle of Hope Church.
He is survived by his wife, Darella; four sons, DaLawrence, Damion and Dejaun; one daughter, Deja, all of Indianapolis; two sisters, Victoria and Felicia Smith, both of Brewton; three brothers, Jason (Michelle) Smith of Akron, Ohio, James Hall, Jr (Alicia) of Atlanta, Georgia and Kevin Hall of Castleberry; one brother in law, Damon (Fradonia) Johsnon; one sister in law, Darnisha (Tony) Clemmons; mother in law, Lydia (Lynn) Simmons; father in law, Darrell (Carla) Pope, all of Indianapolis; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 27, at 2 p.m. at Baptist Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. B.C. Tucker officiating. Burial followed at Baptist Hill Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
