Resident sends out many thanks
Thanks to Glenn Freeman, Mayor Ted Jennings and other for staging the fine car and truck show behind BankTrust Saturday, Sept. 24. And thanks to the Lions Club for the good hamburgers and Conecuh sausage dogs. You could tell the owners had put in a great deal of effort and money on their treasured cars and trucks to come to Brewton and show off their vehicles.
Seeing all the old cars and trucks brought back lots of good memories, as well as renewing many old acquaintances. A good time was had by all. Thanks to our commissioner and county workers for the good upkeep of our roads out Appleton way. Thanks especially for the good wide bridge you constructed on Appleton Road a while back. If and when you build a new bridge on Juniper Creek near Weaver Cemetery. We hope it will be a good wide one.
Thanks Fitzhugh Ellington and staff for the good listening on your Sunday Down South program on WKNU before we go to church.
Thank you,
James Sundy
