Mrs. Madlyn Vivian McGaha Majercik, 83, of the L-Pond community, died Monday, Oct. 10, 2005, at her residence after an extended illness. She was a native of Castleberry and a former resident of Mobile before moving back to Castleberry in 1979. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Maurice Catholic Church.
She is survived by two sons, Joe (Patricia) Majercik of Castleberry and John Curtis Majercik of Mobile; two daughters, Regina (Joe) Standfield of Satsuma and Cindy (Dr. Reese) Robinson of Brewton; two sisters, Mary Dolihite of Castleberry and Juanita (Sam) Edwards of Pensacola, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be today, Wed., Oct. 12, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Maurice Catholic Church with Father Adrian Cook and the Rev. Bob Godbee officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Creek Cemetery in Castleberry with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
