Leadership forum focuses on creating jobs with trade

The Coastal Gateway Economic Development Authority (CGEDA), in partnership with the Alabama Development Office and Export Alabama Trade Alliance, is organizing a trade leadership forum entitled Creating Jobs With Trade from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27, at the Alabama Southern Nettles Auditorium in Monroeville.  
The forum is designed specifically for political leaders and business executives to learn and discuss how jobs can be created for the community through international trade.
Speakers include Brian Davis, director of the Alabama International Trade Center, Renee Carter, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Walter Bastian, deputy assistant secretary, US Department of Commerce, Washington DC, Eliska Morgan, deputy chief of staff of Rep. Jo Bonner (R-1st) and Peggy Jaye, Alabama River Pulp.
