Mr. R.E. “Bobby” Henderson, 60, died Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, at a Pensacola hospital. He was a native of Montgomery and a lifelong resident of the Flomaton community. He was retired from the CSX Railroad where he worked as an agent. He was of the Holiness faith and was preceded in death by his parents, V.E. “Red” and Annie Mae Lowery Henderson; a brother, Don Henderson and a sister, Vivian Henderson.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Bethea Henderson of Flomaton; two sons, Sean (Amber) Henderson of Mobile and Patrick (Robyn) Henderson of Roanoke; a brother, Tommy Henderson of Flomaton; two sisters, Sue (Wayne) Johnson and Pam (Dooley) Mathis, both of Century, Fla., and one grandchild, Ada.
Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, Oct. 19, from 5 until 9 p.m. at the Flomaton Funeral Home chapel.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 20, at 2 p.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home with the Rev. James Pugh and the Rev. Jerry Keese officiating. Burial will follow at Flomaton Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
