Edgar F. “Dick” Adams

Mr. Edgar F. “Dick” Adams, 82, died Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, in a local nursing facility. He was a native of Flomaton and a life long resident of the Brewton area. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Army Air Force. He was retired from Container Corporation. He was a member of Cornerstone Community Church.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Adams of Brewton; two sons, Bryan Ferrell Adams of Pensacola, Fla., and Adam Kirk Adams of Brewton, a daughter, Javanda Loy Hawsey of Brewton; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 31, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Taylor officiating. Burial followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
