Fund aids disaster training materials

The American Red Cross – East Escambia County Chapter provides relief services during natural and other disasters, safety training and community classes, Project Share and several other projects.
The Red Cross receives no funding from state, county, or city governments. The agency depends upon United Fund and private donations to operate.
The East Escambia Chapter of the American Red Cross is one of 15 agencies that will benefit from the $90,000 campaign goal the United Fund has set for this year.
The United Fund gives more than 99 cents of every dollar it raises to the 15 member agencies.
Donations can be mailed to United Fund of Brewton and East Brewton, P.O. Box 34, Brewton, Ala. 36427.
