Mrs. Ethel Lawrinda Wilson Smith, 82, of Appleton Road, died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, at her residence after an extended illness. She was a native and life long resident of Brewton. She was a member of North Brewton Baptist Church and a retired nurse.
She is survived by a son, Larry (Tammy) Smith Jr. of Brewton; a daughter, Lawrinda Smith Shanks of Brewton; two grandchildren, Michelle Shanks Stone of Beaufort, N.C., and Tracie Smith Wilson of Cummings, Ga.; a step-grandson, Brian Blackham of Auburn; and one great grandson.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 7, at 11 a.m. at North Brewton Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael King officiating. Burial followed at Weaver Cemetery on Appleton Road with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
