Autry Benjamin James, 78, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005 at a local nursing facility. He was a native of Conecuh County, and longtime resident of Mobile. He was preceded in death by one brother, Rodgers; and one sister, Sara Pearl. 
He is survived by four siblings, Charles L. James of Wetumpka, Louise James Smith of Brewton, Susan James Benton of Rocky Point, N.C., and Robert Carl James of Mobile; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  A graveside service will be held today, Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005 at 11 a.m. in Ft. Crawford Cemetery, East Brewton and Pine Crest Funerals and Cremations of Mobile directing.
