Mr. Dewey Clarkston Bell, 77, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005, in a local hospital. He was a native of Escambia County and worked as a merchant marine. He was a member of Beulah Chapel Assembly of God and was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Bell and a great granddaughter, Abigale Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret &#8220Susie” Bell of Century; two sons, Raymond Bell and Gerald Lynn Bell, both of Century; two daughters, Janett Smith of Flomaton and Donna (Eric) Smith of Cantonment, Fla.; two sisters, Marilyn &#8220Dot” Sloan of Alvin, Texas, and Myrtice Wood of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. until service time.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 11 a.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Shelton Kindig officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Jeffery Nowling, Michael Johnson, Winston Findley, Arnold Bell, Dennis Nowling and William Bell. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Nowling and James Bell.
