Ending 14 years of coaching at the school, T.R. Miller High School athletic director and head coach Frank Cotten announced this week that he has resigned from the two coaching posts but will remain at the school as assistant principal.
Jack W. Hines Sr., president, Hines Realty Company, was named to the board of directors for 1981 of the Alabama Chamber of Commerce during the Chamber's 43rd annual meeting held recently in Birmingham.
Work on Alabama Power Company's North Brewton District Substation is 90 percent complete.
The Escambia County Unit of the American Cancer Society will hold its second annual Crafts for Cancer this Saturday, Nov. 22.
As part of its continued effort to help hospitals contain costs, the AlaHA has established a Workmen's Compensation Self-Insured fund.
