Mr. Robert Jennings Gibson, 75, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2005, in a Mobile hospital. He was a native and life-long resident of Conecuh County. He was retired from T.R. Miller Mill Co. and was of the Holiness faith.
He is survived by his wife, Jennie Pearl Gibson of Castleberry; three sons, Ray Buckhault and Rodney Lee (Tammy) Gibson, both of Castleberry and James Ronald (Jennifer) Gibson of Silver Lake, Ind.; four daughters, Faye (James) Cowan of Altoona, Ala., Geraldine (John) Kundison of Castleberry, Diane (Eddie) Jernigan of Brewton, and Robin (Chris) Hamrac of Evergreen; two brothers, Bobby Gibson of Mobile and Leo Gibson of Brewton; three sisters, Eloise Dubose, Betty Haveard and Lucy Crawford, all of Brewton; 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 17, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with the Rev. Steven Cooper officiating. Burial followed at New Hopewell Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Larry Sager, Danny Smith, Michael Jernigan, Chris Jernigan, Steven Robinson and Skyler Gibson.
