Mrs. Nettie Virginia Blair Smith, 74, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2005, at her residence in Brewton. She had been a resident of the Brewton community since 1990, coming from Breauxbride, La. She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Fay Williams, and two sisters, Nora Mae Jordan and Doris M. Martin.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Smith of Brewton; a daughter, Nora Jean Berry of Wallace; two sisters, Dollie B. Dickerson of Grand Bay and Katherine L. Garrett of Theodore; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 21, at 10 a.m. at Craver's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Wilson officiating. Burial followed at Cooper Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
