Clarinda Adelaide Cook Ward, 89, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005, in a Texas nursing facility after an extended illness. She was a native of Falco, a long time resident of Mobile, and a former resident of Crestview, Fla., before moving to Texas. She was a member of Union Hill Church of Christ and a retired beautician.
She is survived by her daugher, Sandra K. Holie of Runaway Bay, Texas; a sister, Lucinda Cook Worrell of Wing; three grandchildren, Kerry Holie Cryer, David Ray Potter Jr. and Anthony Tony Potter; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 1:30 p.m. at Union Hill Church of Christ with Minister Tom Dugan officiating. Burial followed at Union Hill Cemetery in Bradley with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
